Admission Guide

Nikan Hospital accepts patients through three methods:

Admission from the clinic

  • If the patient is admitted urgently for hospitalization, admission is carried out according to the doctor's order with the coordination of the supervisor.
  • Patients who have been scheduled for surgery by their physician are referred to the operating room coordination officer, and they will be informed of their admission and hospitalized according to the surgery date.

Emergency admission

  • After receiving initial outpatient services, if the patient requires hospitalization, they will be admitted under the coordination of the supervisor and with the designation of the treating physician, and a bed will be assigned to them.

Admission from physicians' offices

  • After the patient visits the relevant physician's office and the surgery appointment is determined by the physician, they will be referred to the operating room coordination officer, and they will be informed of their admission and hospitalized according to the scheduled date.
  • Patients are admitted by personal visit and presenting a hospitalization order and valid identification documents (ID card and national card for Iranian patients, passport for non-Iranian patients).
  • Priority for hospitalization is based on the patient's condition, age (children and elderly individuals have priority), and the type and timing of the operation.
  • To expedite the patient admission process, all patients are coordinated according to the scheduled date (schedule), and a pre-admission link is provided in advance. This link includes personal information, uploading of the national ID card and birth certificate, landline and mobile phone numbers, address, details of the patient's guardian, and an account number or IBAN with the name of the account holder and their relationship with the patient for refund purposes.
  • Additionally, the day before admission, a general check is conducted by one of the colleagues, and pre-admission procedures are reviewed. Patients are contacted to address any potential deficiencies, and emphasis is placed on ensuring that necessary documents for admission, including identification cards, legal documents, and power of attorney, are brought along.
  • It is necessary to mention that in surgical procedures involving women and in the maternity ward, such as childbirth (natural or cesarean section), hysterectomy, and various types of curettage, the presence of the spouse along with their identification cards (as well as the postal code of the residence) is mandatory. (Except in emergency cases where the documentation must be provided later.)
  • All surgical procedures for individuals under 18 years of age are performed only with the presence of their identification card and the presence of their father or legal guardian.
  • Cosmetic procedures for married women must be done in the presence of their husband and with the obligatory presentation of identification documents. For unmarried individuals, the presence of first-degree relatives (father and mother) with identification documents is mandatory.
  • It is worth mentioning that the presence of a first-degree companion is mandatory for hospitalization and surgery.
  • The contact numbers for the admissions unit of Nikan Hospital in Agdasiyeh are 29122523 to 23.
  • Medical documents for discharged patients will be provided for supplementary insurance purposes based on a form that is completed if necessary at the time of discharge.
